Happy New Year 2007!

The lazy bug has gotten into me…

Supposed to be dutifully writing down my thoughts, but then, I end up procrastinating… and haha, lots of pictures are piling up… willing to be collaged on Photoshop… bleh.

Lots of tutorials waiting for me to attend to them. My Kueh Bangkit flour waiting for me to make it again… My jewellery is waiting for me to put it into pretty pieces….

And well, I promise someone *grin* I’ll blog cos I’ve been MIA-ing for way too long… haha… And so, here’s my CNY pictures.

(PS: Yes, I know, my dress is like SUPER loud! haha… And sooo retro! I like it leh. Sometimes, its good to be fair-skinned(haha… the kids in church called me a ‘white woman’… ) I can carry off all these weird colours.

Anyway, there is a reason why I chose this dress. I doubt I can carry this dress off in a couple of years time, so might as well wear something loud and colourful while I still can pull it off… haha… And no, I didn’t do my CNY shopping with Kai… it’s just coincidence that we both wore retro!)

Well, one reason why I’ve been so busy is because I’ve been busy doing all the visitings… then family dinners at night (2 nights in a row!) and today, I’m just super tired to do anything else. Did a lil’ sch work and now i’m ready for bed after I blog!

I WILL WILL WILL study very hard during my school hols next week… Its terrible ain’t it? Recess week and yet, we’re all still so busy studying. Bleahhhhh….

And oh! I got a small surveying job for 3 days. haha… I know I know, supposed to use it for studying. But I promise to juggle everything and give enough time for sch work. The pay is just too good to give up! heh! I welcome extra moolah anytime!

I seriously need to find a attachment company soon… time’s running out! ahhhh…. *panic button pressed!*

Mid week and its been nothing but exciting!

My 400th Post! Woo Hoo!

First of all. Sorry for skipping a blog post yesterday. Was kinda busy sorting out some stuff…

And well, its only mid-week and I’ve been bombarded with lots of unique requests and have encountered some rather odd(in a happy way, and some in a terrible way) events.

First of all… my baby phone goes all cranky on me. And I really don’t know what went wrong. When ever someone calls, the fellow can hear me, but I can’t hear the person! Really irritating. So, I’m gonna get it fixed tmr afternoon. Bleh.

I got a dress for CNY. Super super retro looking. Like I just arrive from the 1970s. Haha… Real cute. And I was telling Peiwen, if I don’t take the courage to wear this now, I’ll get laughed at when I grow older and start wearing this type of dresses. So, why not try a retro look? Look out Kai! I’m gonna ‘try’ and be more retro than you! muahaha…. (but then, sure lose you lah. you look better in retro than me… haha…)

And yes, some other things too… but shall not mention them here. Ha. Well, at least not for the time being.

2 days ago, I was just thinking of Martha Stewart. She has the kind of job that I wanna do in the future! She has her own TV show, where she shows others how to bake/cook and teach them cool and nifty craft work.

We don’t have a TV show in Singapore that does this! The cooking shows that we have are all not that interesting. Not hip enough. No ‘cool’ enough. We need young blood to show the younger ones that cooking/baking is not an ‘auntie’ thing. Its fun, its interesting and we can learn so much from being in the kitchen! Be it learning to cook a simple meal to survive or to learn to bake cookies/muffins to impress a girl/boy. And not forgetting, all the cool craft work or interesting things to make!

Haha… and yes, just as I dream about it, I received a very interesting email with an interesting proposal to me. I might just get to play ‘Martha’ soon *grin*. In a similar way*grin*. But not on national TV. I’ll update with it if it goes well. *grin*
(yes yes, I know, you wanna slap me. I shall wipe that grin off my silly face… hahhaa)

Woo hoo! I’m gonna learn to bake Kueh Bangkit! Yummy melt-in-the-mouth Kueh Bangkit! I hope V is happy! I know he loves it. Can’t wait for next week! My oven is gonna have to start learning to work OT! Heh…
